About Leroy

My name is Michelle (aka Leroy), and I’m a wildlife biologist. I love traveling, cooking, reading and knitting, and generally anything that you can make at home from scratch, I will try to do! I love new adventures, and trying new things, and while I don't always succeed, I love the learning process of failing. I feel that it's always worth it to try something new, step outside of your comfort zone, meet new people, and play new games! Even though sometimes it's the hardest thing to do...

“Taking Risks”

Taking risks can mean finding adventure or authenticity, whether we fail or succeed. We want to hear your stories about your big ideas and taking risks! Join us at the Wunderbar for an evening of storytelling and laughter!

A story slam is a competition based on the art of storytelling, allowing folks to share their experiences by crafting stories within a 5-10 minute time limit. Story-tellers will write down their names and a title for their story. The event hosts will randomly pull story-tellers out of a hat (or bowl or bucket), and one-by-one, they will take the mic to tell their tale!

The event is free and open to the public!
